Antique Tribal used Jimma 3 - leg stool from Ethiopia.
Hand carved from a single piece of wood.
Size: 18 cm diameter and 19 cm high.
This stool is collected in 1936 by an Italian collector ended up in my private collection in 1994,
with Cerfiticate of Authenticity.
The JIMMA is one of the largest ethnic groups in Ethiopia and live mainly in the western highland and the southern parts of the country. They are predominantly cultivators.
Small to medium in size with three supporting legs. Attrsctive cut out desighn on the back support with deep lusty patina.
